A result about the material, not a rating for an assembly. ISO 1182 tests the board itself. A fire-rated wall, ceiling or shaft is a complete assembly, tested together for a period in minutes.
The figures Cemtone publishes are ranges and minimums. In September 2026 a sample of the board was sent to an independent laboratory and measured, to find out whether the product meets what is claimed for it.
It does. Every one of the thirteen results met the published figure — density, modulus of rupture, screw withdrawal, thermal conductivity, thermal expansion, moisture content and pH, together with all five BS EN 12467 durability tests and non-combustibility.
Twelve of the thirteen were run to the standard Cemtone already publishes for them. The thirteenth, non-combustibility, was run to ISO 1182.
The laboratory report is held on file and is available to a specifier on request.
What this is, and what it is not. One sample, tested on one day, against the material standards named beside each row.
It is not a certification, an accreditation, or an audit of factory production, and nothing in it guarantees that a later batch matches this sample. A test report and a certification are different things, and this is the first.

These certify the management system, not the board. They describe how the company runs its quality, environmental and safety processes. They do not state that the board meets any performance standard — the tables above do that.

Non-combustible is a result about the material, not a rating for a wall. ISO 1182 tests whether the board itself contributes to a fire. It does not. A fire-rated wall or shaft is a complete assembly — board, framing, fixings, cavity and insulation — tested together for a period in minutes. Cemtone publishes the material result. Any period you need for a particular assembly has to come from a test of that assembly.
Density 1,250–1,450 kg/m³ is the mass of the material itself, not of a sheet. The weight you build with is on the board page: 8.1 kg/m² at 6 mm, up to 24.2 kg/m² at 18 mm, or 24 kg to 72 kg for a full 1220 × 2440 mm sheet.
Modulus of rupture above 10 MPa is the board's bending strength when dry, tested to ASTM C1185.
Screw withdrawal above 1,750 N is how hard a single screw resists being pulled straight out, tested to ASTM D1037.
pH 10–12 makes the board alkaline, which is normal for a cement product. It matters when choosing sealants, adhesives and paints — use products rated for an alkaline substrate.
Five BS EN 12467 passes cover impermeability, freeze–thaw, heat–rain, warm water and soak–dry. Freeze–thaw and heat–rain are the two an external specification turns on. BS EN 12467 also sorts a board into a category and a class. Neither is published, so ask for both before specifying the board externally.
The stated column is Cemtone's published manufacturer data. The measured column is one sample, tested on one day. Confirm both against a current test report before relying on them in a specification.
