Each use has its own thickness and its own fixing detail. The thickness shown on each card is what Cemtone publishes for that use.

Protective lining · non-combustible board
Wall underlay is the board used as a base for a finish fixed over it — ceramic tiles, or any fixture the wall has to carry. It is not a bare partition. Add a stud frame at every joint and at every fixing point, such as a basin or sanitary ware.
The board is also used for raised floors and for concealing utility and plumbing lines.
Service shafts and protective lining. No thickness is published for this use. Tell us the shaft and what it has to protect, and we will specify it.
Thicknesses are from Cemtone's published uses-by-thickness table. Where an exposed external surface is involved, the wall guidance suggests more than 12 mm, or as specified — follow the specification.
