About
What we make, how it is made, and what it is tested against.
One product. A flat fibre cement sheet of cement, silica sand, high-performance additives and cellulose fibre, in seven thicknesses from 6 to 18 mm, at 1220 × 2440 mm. Custom sizes are made to order.
The board is cured in an autoclave. Superheated steam at high pressure enhances the chemical reaction between the cement and the silica. Cemtone states what that produces: improved strength, lower moisture movement and high fire resistance.
ASTM C1185, ASTM D1037, ASTM C177 and ASTM D696 for the physical properties. BS EN 12467 for five durability tests. ISO 1182 for non-combustibility. Every published figure and the standard beside it is on the technical page, beside what an independent laboratory measured.
Cemtone operates quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, through QSCert. Those certify how the company is run, not the board itself. The board's own tested figures are on the technical page, which also says what the certificates do not yet state.
Plot 38, Sector 24, Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi.

Cemtone describes the board as a faster, lighter and more efficient alternative to traditional brick and block construction, and as suited to high-rise buildings, schools, hospitals, prefabricated housing and EPS wall panel.
